o'reillys has been on the go for the past 15 years under the same management, Dave Carroll, it has become home to many an ex-pat  and also to many Germans that feel at home here too.
Dave had played with the band Bachelors Walk for over 10 years, and now keeps the sessions going on Monday nights, all musicians are welcome to join in.
 
Tuesday is quiz night, which proves popular with all, although many language teachers use it to show their students the finer art of using the English language.

Wednesday is a popular night with football fans as is Thursday.

Friday the weekend starts and we know what weekends are for, we cover all major sports, Gaelic football/hurling, soccer, rugby and NFL, even F1.

Dave seems to be doing something right as the pub has won several awards from Guinness, including Best Pub in this State, and Best Pint of Guinness in Germany

Other pubs may try to imitate o'reilly, "plagiarism is the highest form of flattery" but you can't beat the real thing. Slainte.
